UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW
Overall Rating

I like the building - it's like Hogwarts. Facilities are fine, professors have a lot of time to pay attention to you individually if you have any problems with the material. There are tons of assigments and home works which help you really understand the material. However, for me the third year in Computing Science is too stressful. We didn't do much in the first two years and now suddenly there are several team projects which need to be managed next to individual work and some of the material is completely unnecessary (like the PSD course which have a lot of artificial problems). The team work could be much better if we could choose our teammates or have a good system in which we can exclude them from a team if they don't work. I think too much attention is payed to industry where some people might want to open their own company.
