Increase your understanding of the practice of marketing, respond to commercial design briefs and engage with businesses of all sizes. The vocational focus of this course means it is suitable for graduates wishing to move into marketing and those seeking to build upon existing marketing expertise.

Our staff all have practical marketing expertise and with their knowledge, you’ll advance your critical understanding of marketing, its application and relationship with other key business operations and consumers. Understanding customers, marketing communication, marketing research, international strategic marketing, digital-marketing and brand management are all integral to this degree.

Assessments involve you in developing academic arguments as well as marketing writing, advertising design and marketing campaign development skills.

The course culminates in a dissertation or a marketing case project, enabling you to specialise in an area of marketing that you find particularly fascinating, and which you may wish to pursue in your marketing career.

If you have a relevant postgraduate diploma or professional award (such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Professional Postgraduate Diploma), then you may be able to join this programme at an advanced level.

It explores the role of digital electronic methods in marketing strategy and how new technologies can be embraced for marketing purposes. It also focuses on the use and value of multimedia and the Internet as vehicles for the generation and distribution of ideas, goods and services in the business world. It concentrates on the design and evaluation of multimedia applications from a marketing perspective.
