Criminology and Criminal Psychology, MSc

UNIVERSITY OF GREENWICH
Overall Rating

So far, I am only at university once or twice a week but I am already very comfortable there. Its easy to get around, I use all the facilities with ease, and I am enjoying my course immensely!

Student Union

My students union appears very active and caring of the students voice. I did not get involved simply due to not having the time, otherwise I would have.

Clubs and Societies

I have joined the criminology society and so far they have been wonderful, arranging loads of events to get everyone involved.

Uni Facilities

The facilities are brilliant. The students union building is large and welcoming, the areas where my lectures are too. The library can sometimes be busy but there is always somewhere to sit.

Course and Lecturers

I like the lectures the most, they are always interactive and thought provoking. Room for improvement would be to make seminars more like seminars.

City Life

Its a small area in Greenwich but a very friendly one, with an interesting array of shops. The only downside of city life is transport, busy and tiring, but a price to pay for living in London.

Job Prospects

They hold networking and careers events, one which I have signed up for myself. You can also get in touch with the careers department who are very helpful. The lecturers always work towards transferring skills to their students, for example by doing a presentation that is a mock up of what a psychologist would present at a conference.

Student Support

Academic support is fantastic, tutors are fast at responding and give great advice. I have also come into contact with the wellbeing service which is also brilliant- however, the waiting times for an appointment are not great.
