There is absolutely zero disability access of any kind - DO NOT GO HERE if you have any form of disability.

I am visually impaired and all the lectures are available only as PDFs or slide shows of PDFs, there is no option to receive any of the info via typed text that a screen reader can access. The exams involve looking at jpgs of graphs, there is no option for visually impaired students at all. read full review

My ratings are for the online psychology masters, a bridging course. FIND ANOTHER PLACE IF STUDY. The flexibility is fantastic. However the online offering is dismal, really just an afterthought. Lectures are basic and actually poorly delivered through short simplistic videos. They provide no depth whatsoever and are mostly very dull. There are so few of them. The marking is another issue. Get ready to spend a great deal of your time disputing glaring marking discrepancies. Markers often mark against incorrect criteria. They offer zero feedback even after being asked. To get helpful feedback you have to escalate. Even then you get ‘reviews’ responses saying everything is fine and you’re wrong. An example is where we wrote an assignment and were told not to reference anything but the code of conduct. I have actual proof of this. Still got marked down because of a lack of referencing outside of the code of conduct. After weeks of escalation the reply is: we have looked and the marking is correct. If you’re not happy escalate further. This course has been so painful, besides working and studying I have found that I actually do not have time for this permanent escalation drag. Thus this review. read full review

Firstly, personally for me Northumbria University has got both good international reputation and student support. It has the diverse student body and and a good reputation , attracting faculty. The university offers the comprehensive support services including counseling, career guidance, and academic assistance. Moreover, it also has modern facilities. The Northumbria University boasts the sate of the art facilities, that includes well equipped laboratories, library, and study spaces, enhancing the learning experience. Finally the most attractive about Northumbria University for me is that it has endorsed academic excellence and has got many industry connections. Northumbria University is known for its high quality teaching, research and strong academic programs. The university is collaborated with industry partners, providing students with valuable networking opportunities and real world experiences.

In my opinion, Northumbria could be improved by strengthening more in career services and introducing more innovative teaching methods. University should develop stronger partnership with employers and industries to provide students with more internship and job opportunities. It should also explore more innovative teaching methods, including online learning tools to enhance engagement and learning outcomes for students. read full review
The best aspect of my university experience is the vibrant and diverse academic community. Engaging discussions, collaborative projects, and exposure to various perspectives contribute to a rich learning environment. The worst aspect is the occasional challenge with administrative processes, such as registration or communication gaps. To make it even better, improving communication channels and streamlining administrative procedures would enhance the overall university experience. read full review
Bangor University in Wales is generally well-regarded, especially for its research in areas like Ocean Sciences, Psychology, and Electronic Engineering. Students often appreciate its beautiful location near Snowdonia National Park and the quality of teaching. read full review
