Although there were two supportive and humble tutors, the negative experience of cyberbullying in front of x hundreds of online viewers, where I was repetitively dismissed and ignored when I was asking Student Support for putting things right, this negative experience outweighs the hard work of tutors who had an ability to be good guides. They are very arrogant, very dismissive and very hostile who do not care about the well being of the student, they just cares about their own reputation. I was absolutely shocked by the behaviour of the university who would call me unreasonable when having 38,5 fevers and requesting postpones of deadline, because it is almost impossible to manage otherwise. I was repetitively told that they are not going to discuss things from my point of view, that they are going to ignore what they have done and that I should just move on as if nothing ever happened. But all these cyberbullying experiences do feel as awful case of psychological violence. I felt there was lot of projection from Student Support when I was called unreasonable when I was requesting deadline postpones. I was trying to discuss everything with them, but they repetitively told me they are not going to respond to my complaints. Nobody deserves such an awful treatment. I was also sold video and Skype tutorials, but that was never delivered.
I am not aware of any Student Union.
It depends on tutors. There were about two supportive tutors so far, these were respectful and supportive. But there were also tutors who wanted me to parrot what they are thinking, or who were behaving like bullies. I have felt bullied intellectually, emotionally and academically by some. When I had fevers over 38,5, I was called unreasonable for requesting postpone of deadlines and for complaining that no one should be pressed for Assessment submission when having fevers. I was not allowed to have the opportunity for new Turnitin report, although I have clearly done the report during physical sickness (fevers over 38,5) (because I was unsure if my deadlines would be postponed or not). I was treated really awfully. I regret a lot to have chosen course where I felt cyber bullied in pretty awful manners. I would definitively not recommend this, it is very unhealthy environment.
They try to press you commercially, even if it would be against your own human and creative conscience.
There were two supportive, humble and respectful tutors. Other tutors felt like arrogant, dismissive people who would want student to write what they want them to think. I have felt intellectually, emotionally, and academically bullied by the hand of one tutor and when I have written to Student Support, I was given response that they are not going to respond to me. These people are very arrogant, hostile bullies. But yes, there are exceptions, as two tutors were very humble and respectful, but it is still minority.
