MSc Nursing (Mental Health)

UNIVERSITY OF HERTFORDSHIRE
Overall Rating

The course has been okay in terms of content, but the university has been abysmal in terms of organisation. Placements have been allocated after they were supposed to be started, merged so that we get to experience less areas or completely cancelled. The non-teaching staff are very difficult to get hold of and don't give helpful answers. Ultimately things work out but it's very stressful getting there.

Uni Facilities

It's difficult to tell as I've only been to the uni a handful of times due to the course having been online, but what I've seen has been good.

Course and Lecturers

The whole course so far has been online. The standard of the lecturers has been variable, but the overall course content has beenokay and as I expected.

Job Prospects

I can't speak for other courses, but this uni offers nursing graduates a guaranteed nursing role in the associated NHS trust following graduation.

Student Support

I haven't personally accessed any personal services, but the occupational health nurse doing my pre-placement checks and vaccinations made sure to tell me how to access these if I needed, which was good.
