Overall Rating

Supportive, challenging and interesting! Viva la Hull.
Hull has a bit of an unfair reputation for being a bit rough. Sure, it has its rough areas like any city, but I haven't had a single problem and I've found all the locals to be really lovely and welcoming. The city has so much to do in it, and the uni campus is GORGEOUS.

Student Union

I don't get involved. I don't think the events run in hours that work for me.

Clubs and Societies

Not been to any :( wish there were more art societies

Uni Facilities

Allam medical building particularly has lovely modern features. Other areas are slightly dated but everywhere has kettles/microwaves/plenty of computer space.

Course and Lecturers

Most- I love the interactivity and involvement every student has access to. The time for discussion is really helpful to aid understanding. The access to emotional support is also unparralelled

Least- I love it! completely love it.

City Life

Hull is full of character, unique events, lovely people and plenty of clubs giving very varied nights out. So many good places to eat too.

Job Prospects

Set of mentors and supervisors providing tailored skills and pastoral advice to understand my personal needs. Also targeted emails of employer events are regular.

Student Support

AMAZING. For my course, I have personal counselling and supervision weekly. I have a personal tutor and supervisors and mentors wherever I have placement.
