UNIVERSITY OF HULL
Overall Rating

I have enjoyed my time at Uni, It has been an invigorating experience as an older learner. There are many things I would never have thought I could have achieved prior and because of this I would advocate uni life to everyone who is willing to give it a go.

Student Union

I haven't been involved simply because I do not have the time. However, I believe it is an important part of university life and am thankful there are others who dedicate some of their spare time to it.

Clubs and Societies

N/a

Uni Facilities

They are very up to date and current.

Course and Lecturers

With it being a fairly new course there may have been times when structure wasn't as clear cut as it could have been. Plus there was not enough lecture time to cover all content needed that would give students the broad knowledge base they would need to truly engage with the topics.

City Life

Busy.

Job Prospects

They have an extensive careers department who work hard to guide students on the best path they should take to secure their chosen career. They also promote students, irrelevant of chosen study to engage with skills that they may otherwise not have considered and how they can use them within the wider context of employment.

Student Support

I believe there is support there if needed. However, the responsibility falls on said students to access what is available. Yet the University does clearly signpost students to "where it's at"..!
