Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Hull

I really like the course itself but sometimes it's hard to know how well I'm doing. In all my modules so far I was given to feedback on my first assessed piece before handing the second piece in. It's difficult to know how to improve and when I do get feedback it's too late as the module is over. read full review

great, but admin sign up sucked enrolment etc, feedback is not delivered with the 20 working days and some course content is duplicated eg ethics on two modules read full review

really enjoy the universities facilities and teaching for masters with a lot of help and support. Lectures are recorded and available on canvas online to recap whenever needed to. read full review
As the course in joint it is difficult to get involved with the university on a daily basis. The course will meet the requirements for me to complete my qualification and gain my PGCE which I need. read full review

I really enjoy being a student at the University of Hull. There is always a lot to do in terms of student events and support offered for a range of issues and to improve skills. However I would say that more needs to be done to recognise the needs of distance learners, especially those doing a PhD, as there is not a lot of taught content and it can be quite an isolating experience. read full review

I believe the University of Hull is an under rated university. It offers a wealth of support to its students and the staff are always happy to help and go above and beyond their pay grade. My feedback has more often than not been clear and staff have always offered to go through it with me, and more importantly followed through on that promise. The Uni of Hull also offers lots of different and unique experiences such as high profile guest lecturers, the opportunity to use or witness the use of expensive and rare equipment and really well equipped facilities like the library. I also really like the feel of the uni, it's always friendly and has a real community vibe, which is so important during a daunting transition to university. read full review
It was a good experience. Nutruring on the cultural and academic sides.

It could have been much better had there be better opportunities and exposure to the professional careers world. read full review

Brilliant! I wouldn't wish for any more from my experience at University.

Busy but enjoyable, sometimes it can be difficult to juggle, work, life and study but you cant have it all and it is important to prioritise accordingly in order to meet deadlines. Keeping in touch with your tutor and chatting about things you are struggling with makes a big difference, distance study can make you feel like that support is limited but all questions I have had have been answered with in a swift and informative manner read full review
