UNIVERSITY OF HULL

I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the University of Hull and the resources available for postgraduate researchers are great. It is a little more difficult being an off-campus student to feel part of the University Community but supervisors and tutors encourage this and offer advice about how this can be improved. read full review
I really enjoy my time here. It's well equipped, all in one place, the lecturer's and support from student services has been amazing. The regeneration taking place is first class, and the university is really setting itself up to be a leader within it's sector. read full review
A means to an end! I am someone that really does not like academic work and would much prefer on the job training and discussions of subjects than essay writing read full review
To start with, I was not satisfied with the first week in Hull and University, it wasn't clear for me what I was supposed to do and where to go. After I found out what I was supposed to do, it was already the end of the freshers week and I was so upset that I had missed out on the fabulous events hosted by the Students Union. But as and when I knew what I had to do, I was asked to become an influencer for the university, later the library services were introduced to me when I attended the secondary induction session for new students who had arrived a bit late, I was not late but I wasn't aware about these events at first. There was no communication available to me before. But after 8 weeks being in Hull, it is quite easy for me now and I feel I have settled in and could be quite independent. I would suggest providing emails or any form of communication to freshers as I did not even know how to get to university if it was not for my cousin who showed me around. read full review
