Marketing - MSc

Overall Rating

I am happy, most things are good, the facilities, the environment, the teachers, I enjoy the cafes as well, although i find them a little bit pricey, I think that has to improve as many students we dont have parents to support us whilst we are studying.
Lower prices for food and coffe please.

Student Union

I would love to, but I am also working part-time so not enough time.

Clubs and Societies

I wish I have time to try each of them.

Uni Facilities

They are great, I love my school facilities specially the mini hubs for students use.

Course and Lecturers

The most I like is the choice of interesting modules, I am learnign a lot about businesses.
The least is the time dedicated to each module, in one hour is not enought to elaborate and process in our brains all the concepts the teacher is explaning, if we would have at least 30 more minutes we could work in groups and go in-depht with the concepts, and the outcome would be learning even more and in a practical way.

City Life

Canterbury is a beautiful town, the arquitecture is stunning and the cafes are nice.

Job Prospects

My University is great for employability after you have finished your studies, for example:

EmpFest Festival: a festival where you can find lots of employers recruiting graduates, even before they finish their studies.

The business start-up Journey: a series of workshops I am going to be involved in to know better how is like to set up a business or help my potential clients on how to go about it.

The University of Kent also offers for free a CV review and 3 months of support after you have finished your studies.

There are workshops towards getting a great profile on Linkedin or how to do a video Interview.

I am grateful for having the opportunity to study at the University of Kent, I would recommend it to everyone.

Student Support

The teachers are nice sometimes so serious, I wish they are closer to us and treat as like friends rather than students.
