Despite the entire year pretty much being fully online, it has indeed been difficult but the teaching has been good and the lecturers are trying their best, so I do applaud them for that and their support for this year. Since my Masters is only one year, it has been tough but I am grateful for the friends I have made in my course and honestly they played a major role in helping me get through this year. We would support, motivate and help each other at all times so that has been the best thing in my opinion.
The facilitates such as the library and study hubs on campus are great and for postgrads in particular, we have our own study/common room space which I loved.
Before Covid, I personally really enjoyed my years at Kent. The student life was amazing and some the best times in my life so far and I enjoyed every bit of my course.

The library is so spacious and very clean and has plenty of space for both independent and group study. There are several other study hubs located around the campus so very useful. The sports centre is amazing, not just the gym but the indoor activities such as Zumba was fun and enjoyable to do with my friends so definitely make use of it when u have the time.

My course has been taught online and although it was been a bit of a struggle, the teaching has been good and I do appreciate all the hard work the lecturers has put in to try and deliver us the best that they can offer. Although I do wish that teachers respond to emails a bit quicker, I do understand how busy they are.

The Lssj support team for sociology, law and journalism was very helpful when I was struggling with a few issues in my course. They really do listen and try to offer the best advice to you to help you improve either your essays or help sort out any mental issues that you may face.
