Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Kent

Drama

UNIVERSITY OF KENT

Student Reviewer - March 2015

My course overall is enjoyable, but there is lack of organisation which is an administration problem but effects how efficiently the course is taught. On campus I lived in Tyler Court which was really good because of the people there and convenience of distance on campus. I now live in town which is further away and less sociable. read full review

Law

UNIVERSITY OF KENT

Student Reviewer - March 2015

You can gain law skills as well as study the information on the course, such as the Law Clinic which provides students with experience. Eliot is uncomfortable and unpleasant to look at. Even though it's in the middle of campus the bedrooms are tiny as it has Mungo's downstairs, a bar, which means there is sometimes noise during the night read full review

Business Adminstration

UNIVERSITY OF KENT

Student Reviewer - March 2015

My course teaches you a wide set of skills that are transferable to a variety of careers. The gym on campus is really useful as it means you don't need to travel to and from the gym in town to be able to exercise and I have joined the Kickboxing society read full review

The library is good as it has the core texts available for my course but wish there were more social areas available. The students union are good as they let us know how our money is being spent and I like my course here as it's enjoyable to study read full review

Kent has very good facilities, and a piece of advice I would give about the area is to explore as there are lots of places to go and a lot of things to do as it is a tourist city with a lot of history read full review

Law

UNIVERSITY OF KENT

Student Reviewer - March 2015

We have supportive seminar leaders, my course can be challenging but at the same time rewarding, but there aren't good events on on many days in terms of going out. However, there's a lot of lecture halls and if you need to book out a room to hold meetings in for societies then there is usually enough space. read full review
