Legal Practice Course LPC

THE UNIVERSITY OF LAW
Overall Rating

The University of Law is quite vast. I am an online student and I must say I felt supported by the Lecturers in my course, who've really offered to go above and beyond to help us understand our core topics. I am also rather impressed by Disability support, the team in that department really listened and have been responsive. I am not quite happy with assessments , they've never responded to my emails. Recently, I've been allotted the wrong time for one of my assessments and i haven't heard from them yet. Other than that, I would say the courses are heavy but there is ample support and guides to assist you. I think reiterating discipline is important to the student body as it is quite a lot of work.
Improvements
Reconsider the syllabus for Civil and Criminal Procedure, aim to make Criminal Litigation practical. The scenarios and solicitors advice, police station conduct etc provides for such. A written question for 4 units don't do it justice for me.
Advise international students on their time options, I did exams at 5:30 am my local time.

Overall, I am satisfied with the University and I look forward to see how my electives progress.
