This masters programme will support your professional development as an educator, and provide you with the skills to research a chosen area of interest. Supported by a blended learning approach including face-to-face sessions and interactive materials, you’ll be equipped with the skills to plan and conduct your dissertation, and be primed to confidently transfer your knowledge into your current or future professional role. Key Features: Your learning journey – this full time masters programme is suitable if you are undertaking an intercalated degree from medicine or dentistry; Taught modules will be delivered in the autumn and spring terms. The MClinEd Clinical Education is also available as a full-time programme for intercalating students. The postgraduate certificate, diploma and masters in clinical education are all offered as end point qualifications, and assignments are designed to reflect your educational role within your clinical background. The certificate stage focuses on applying educational theory to clinical educational practice, and exploring contemporary issues, while the diploma will help you explore a role as an educational scholar and leader.

This module is the dissertation associated with the Masters programme and is designed to enable students to produce a project dissertation under supervision, and to demonstrate project design, development, evaluation and synthesis skills.
