The Module will offer a broad introductory overview of the theories related to the issues related to the understanding and the design of urban space. The module introduces students to methodologies for understanding and analysing urban space. Students are required to undertake a case study of an urban setting and contextualise this by demonstrating a critical awareness of the broader issues in relation to urban design and planning.
