This course provides you with that opportunity if you want to develop your leadership and management knowledge and skills in educational settings and organisations. The programme aims to support reflection and empowerment for the professional working in the field of education. This programme is aimed at those students who are or have worked for an organisation, such as teachers, lecturers, social and healthcare workers, police trainers, nurses and youth workers. You will be guided through the assessment process for each unit by your tutors and there will be extensive online supporting materials. Assessments will include online tests and quizzes, reflective commentaries, case study work, article critiques, online discussions, research proposal and a dissertation. Many of the assessments will relate to analyses of your current (and possibly future) workplace contexts. As a graduate of this programme, you may expect to develop your leadership and managerial career prospects, nationally or internationally, through the development of relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
