With just under 4,000 postgraduate students on campus, the University of Portsmouth is an ideal choice for postgraduate students.

The university has great research credentials, excelling in areas such as astrophysics, forensics and sports science. A massive 89% of its research in physics and 90% of its research in allied health professions was rated as either ‘World Leading’ or ‘Internationally Excellent’ by the Research Excellence Framework in 2014.

Portsmouth also holds a Gold award from the Teaching Excellence Framework 2017, so you can be sure you’ll get a high-quality education.

The University offers over 200 postgraduate degrees, in a wide variety of disciplines, across the following five faculties:
