The course is for health professionals who want to advance their practice or require specialist modules, offering a unique and comprehensive educational experience for UK and international health and social care practitioners. Its flexible structure and module choices allow you to create a programme that can be individually tailored to support your professional practice.

Suitable for experienced and inexperienced healthcare practitioners, the MSc Professional Practice facilitates the use of the latest research, and aims to transform your practice, and improve the quality of care.

This Professional Practice course focuses on the professional development necessary for higher level practice and leadership roles. On successful completion, you will have gained an internationally recognised qualification that is designed to prepare healthcare professionals to take up posts within health and social services globally.

We intend to deliver our courses in a blended format; with a proportion of the teaching and learning being delivered digitally, and where it is safe to do so, some teaching and learning being delivered in person and using social distancing and/or mitigating measures as deemed appropriate in line with government guidance.

There are three exit points – Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma and Master's level.

Assessment

Assessment methods include written assignments mainly based on issues from practice, presentations, scenario based role plays and critical literature reviews.
