The aim of this module is to introduce some popular techniques and tools used to conduct analysis on these text or network data. After studying this module, students will develop a conceptual understanding of how to use text or social network data to support and improve marketing activities.

Entry requirements

Bachelors degree 2:1 classification UK bachelors degree or equivalent Acceptable subjects: Prefer a marketing degree or work experience in marketing or analytics OR a degree with some quantitative elements eg economics, engineering, statistics, information systems, management sciences, pure science, computer science etc. Required module areas: Business, Management, or Marketing Excluded subjects: English translation, Art/Performing Art, Vocational Studies Work experience in a related field can compensate for degree subject/grade.
