Our two year postgraduate diploma will enable you to delivery exceptional evidence-based nursing care that empowers people to live as independently as possible with their mental health needs. The practice experience provides a work-based experience to enable you to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills learnt in academic module/s and work towards achieving NMC competencies by the end of the programme. Modular learning outcomes must be achieved in each practice experience. These will be demonstrated through a practice based assessment. Some of these learning outcomes will become core attributes and will be tested in each subsequent practice experience. In addition, specified essential skills and competencies must be achieved in each practice experience. This module belongs to semester two.
