Modules

This module provides two-thirds of the content for the MRes in Advanced Biological Sciences programme. Each student undertakes an extensive research project which is laboratory and/or fieldwork based, depending on the specialisation chosen: Biodiversity, Ecology and Ecosystem services; Biotechnology; Developmental Biology; Microbiology; Neuroscience; Molecular and Cellular Biosciences Plant Biology.

Entry requirements

Upper second class honours degree (2:1 or equivalent) or first class honours degree. Students who have achieved a lower second honours degree will only be admitted onto this programme in exceptional circumstances. Non-UK applicants will usually have completed 4 years or more in higher education.
