The Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton is home to Chemistry, Engineering, Electronics and Computer Science, Physics and Astronomy, and the Zepler Institute for Photonics and Nanoelectronics, which incorporates the Optoelectronics Research Centre.
We offer over 50 taught masters programmes for you to choose from, ranging from electrochemistry to audiology, chemical engineering to artificial intelligence, and optical fibre and photonic engineering to aeronautics and astronautics. We also have extensive opportunities for postgraduate research.
Across all of our Engineering and Physical Sciences departments, we have over 5,600 students, with around 600 taught postgraduates and 1,000 postgraduate research students.
