The University of Strathclyde is a leading international technological university, renowned for meeting the needs of students and employers through its high quality teaching and research. Strathclyde was named UK Entrepreneurial University of the Year 2013/14.

Recognised as one of the largest providers of postgraduate education in the UK, a wide range of taught and research-based postgraduate courses is available across four faculties:

  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Engineering
  • Science
  • Strathclyde Business School.

The University is one of the UK’s top 20 research universities and the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 shows that the university is excelling in all four faculties. The department of Physics is rated number one in the UK. The Strathclyde Business School is number 1 in Scotland and in the UK top 10. Seven of their Engineering departments are also in the UK top 10.

Located in the centre of Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city, there is plenty to see and do in your spare time, with galleries, music venues, restaurants, bars and shops right next to the Strathclyde campus.
