Course Summary

The new Senior Leader Masters Degree Apprenticeship combines a masters degree, apprenticeship and the option to achieve Chartered Manager or Chartered Fellow professional recognition.

It is designed for any individual moving into a senior or strategic management role. This can include General Managers, Senior Managers, Section Leaders, Executives, Directors, COO, CFO, CEO, CIO roles and senior military officers.

The programme has been developed in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) to support enhancement of effective strategic leader knowledge, skills and behaviours. It offers a blend of work-based learning with business, leadership and management education.

Entry requirements

The programme is work based and, as such, is subject to learners being employed full time in a management position. It is expected that participants will have a first degree or at least 3 years management experience OR significant experience and a substantial record of achievement in business and leadership. All applicants will need at least one employer reference covering the last three years of work.
