I am currently studying Applied Data Science at the University of Sunderland and I must say that it has been a wholesome experience for me. One of the attractions of the school for me while applying was its focus on the use of technology to drive its objectives. I believe they certainly have exceeded my expectations on that aspect. The best aspect of my Uni experience for me would be the warmest welcome I got on the freshers week from the student union and the Uni management. Being an International Student who just arrived in the UK, it was a bit of a challenge having to settle into a new climate and all the vicissitudes that comes with it. However, I was pleased to see a campus community that has the best integration and cultural diversity that I can ever imagine. The Uni officials were very friendly, knowledgeable and showed leadership. That helped me a great deal as I adjusted to life in Sunderland quickly. It is exhilarating to know that the school values the needs of its student, especially from the international student perspective. I love the University of Sunderland and I am glad I made the choice to be here for my Masters.

I don't really have any experience I would term as bad or worse. The only area I would love to see more improvement is in the aspect of swift release of assessment and dissertation results for students, especially for students who have visa expiration dates so that they can get their transcripts sorted while their visas are still valid in the UK.
