Our MSc Air Transport Management will give you the knowledge, skills and expertise you need to succeed in the exciting business of air transport. You’ll learn the fundamental elements of air transport management. Analysing and debating theoretical and applied knowledge in management, you will also learn about the operation and organisation of airlines and airports and the latest technology. We’ve specifically chosen a range of highly relevant areas of study to help with your career progression within the industry. This is the only course in the UK that will allow you to use all three commercial software packages that airlines use today, including OAG, MIDT (Sabre) and Flight global. These are essential tools for analysing airline data, and will give you an edge with employers.

This is semester 2 module. This module aims to: provide students with fundamental knowledge of financial tools and financial modelling techniques relevant to airline management; equip students with necessary knowledge to evaluate the decisions of buying vs. leasing aircraft and provide students with a solid understanding of airport finance with particular focus on airport financing methods
