University of Sussex

Coming to Brighton and the university of Sussex, was the first time in my life that I moved out of my home country. During my time here, the city and the university have been very kind and helpful. I have never had any issues of fitting in since the university, with it's meet and greet programs at the start of the year, makes it easy for one to find their place. The location of the university is amazing with a lot of green and I love the openness of the campus.
My favourite spot is the library. Me and my friends often book a library room and proceed to work as a group. The library also help me to regroup my thoughts and work alone if needed.
So far, the cost of living has been a bit tough on me, but once my course eases up I'm open to working part-time, hopefully in the campus.
So far, I honestly see nothing the university needs to improve. Everything is looking good and amazing!

My accommodation, the kings road accommodation is really great. The location is so beautiful, with the beach just outside. Sometimes my favourite thing to do is just go to the beach with a cup of coffee and a book. Nothing can beat that feel!
The accommodation will make you feel at home and the reception is very friendly. The amenities offered are also really good. The wifi is super fast and always reliable, the heater in the room is perfect for the cold, and the staff will clean the communal areas once per week. We had a fire and safety drill as well a few weeks back and that was something really necessary and I appreciate the university for setting up the drill.
In my opinion, this space is totally worth the money and it's already a warm home to me and I have no idea how I'll ever say bye to this space hahah.
