Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Sussex

It is a very safe environment and you easily enjoy the walks around. What makes it amazing are the little spots of grass you can just sit and the feeling of nature. Secondly the staff and support team is extremely intentional to always help. The location to town is the only bone to pick but there are buses which move from campus to town! Problem solved!! read full review

Filmmaking MA

UNIVERSITY OF SUSSEX

Tejas - January 2024

Best experience about my Uni is their facilities and infrastructure. They are advanced and enough for everyone. Worst aspect would be the location is quite far from city centre but you have buses and trains to go to city centre but it gets busier sometimes and you tend to miss a bus or train. read full review

UNIVERSITY OF SUSSEX

There’s a great student and staff life cohesion that fosters living with one another, promotes good self wellbeing attitude and there are numerous opportunities readily available and accessible to enhance personal development and enhance networking at its best. read full review
This university gives me a feeling beloning. It isnt an ordinary university because I can get support whenever I need and it is easy to reach. But on the other hand, courses I take doesn't feel like master courses. I mean they are not easy but there is something not differs these courses from undergraduate courses. read full review
Best Experience
Ratio of tutor to students (absolutely fantastic)
Ambience of the classrooms/ campus
Tutors that knows their onions

Worst Experience
No accomodation for student with family members, I was literally stranded for a while before getting an accomodation off campus.
Whenever I remember what I had to go through with my husband and little one in the first few weeks of getting to Brighton, I feel sad and bitter read full review

It's a fantastic place to study because of its strong sense of inclusivity and high-quality lecturers. To enhance the learning experience, a greater emphasis on practical exposure could further enrich the educational environment. read full review
The University is very conveniently located. There's a train station and bus stops within the University. We also have amazing cafes, convenient stores, pharmacies and a doctor on campus. Mental health is taken very seriously and there is support for everything one can think of. The library is 24×7 and has some of the best collections. The University is located amongst national parks that make for a good, easy hike on sunny days to catch the most amazing sunsets.

In the absence of students on campus, the campus feels very isolated and awefully silent given it's distance from the city. The convenient store, though amazing and boasting of a wide range of items, are not the most affordable and hence cannot be used for weekly grocery shopping. They become a good last resort of sorts. read full review
The best part of the experience is the accessibility. The bad part would be feeling like we’re not being taken seriously. read full review
