Course Summary

Creative Conversations with innovative emerging designers in the UK provide an understanding of the British fashion industry and international collaborations provide valuable insights into team working across global fashion markets.

MA Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation is a dynamic and immersive entrepreneurial experience that is built through collaborative relationships in education (such as Mondragon Team Academy in Bilbao or IFM in Paris) and with key industry stakeholders ranging from fashion-tech, fashion clothing and social enterprise. The programme is based on a ‘learning by doing’ methodology and the participants or ‘team entrepreneurs’ are encouraged to develop and launch their own business ideas, supported by dedicated and experienced team coaches. Inspired by the innovative principles of Akateamia, Finland, the team entrepreneurs learn through experimentation, by testing and validating their ideas in the ‘real world’ of fashion business, whilst drawing on London College of Fashion’s extensive networks.

Former alumni have launched their own fashion businesses in fashion tech, fashion design, media and funding or taken on intrapreneurial roles in fields such as buying, corporate sustainable responsibility and international brand building for fashion companies that span luxury to high street.
