Support staff are available at all colleges should students have any kind of issue. They provide free, confidential and professional services across a variety of areas. This covers areas such as health, learning, disability and faith.
Regular events are specially designed by the Postgraduate Community. These help research and taught students across all disciplines to expand their networks and learn new skills. This includes talks, exhibitions, screenings, workshops, performances and festivals. Events encourage postgraduate students to meet and collaborate with each other.
The Careers and Employability service provides dedicated postgraduate support. This is through tailored workshops where students can develop industry-focused skills.
The disability service helps those with a disability, dyslexia or a long-term or mental health condition. The team can assess needs to arrange support such as equipment, note-takers and extra assistance.
Health, wellbeing and faith
Health and mental health advisers and counsellors are available to talk free of charge. Each college has quiet spaces which can be used by students for prayer, meditation, personal reflection or rest.
Student Advice Service
Students can receive guidance on money issues, immigration and any other problems they may face.
Dedicated support is available for study skills such as essay writing, managing information, making presentations and more.
