The Musical Theatre programme is an intensive 1 year postgraduate programme which offers practical training that will equip participants in the ‘triple-threat’ disciplines of acting, singing, dancing. All of our teaching staff are theatre professionals that work in higher education as well as the industry. UWTSD Cardiff offers a selection of postgraduate degrees that will provide the Students with a solid technique hand in hand with a broad understanding of the creative industries in Wales and beyond. UWTSD Cardiff is a lively melting pot of the actors, singers and dancers of the future. The courses’ work ethic is based on personal development, respect and collaboration. This stems from the support the students receive from the committed and professional staff. This course will develop the student’s skills as a musical theatre performer with an emphasis on: Public Performances; Core skills and Techniques; Professional Development.
