This MA course combines training in luxury brand management with the study of design innovation. Design innovation and brand management are the commercial powerhouses of all successful global organisations. Through branding, businesses connect to the consumer by creating a unique and memorable identity. While design innovation is all about making products, services and environments more desirable and effective by applying new thinking and new technologies.

This course is designed to help you understand the principles of design innovation and branding and how these are applied within the fast-growing business and luxury markets worldwide. It will help you become an innovator and is perfect for design-savvy and communication-conscious entrepreneurs. Our MA in Luxury Brand Management and Design Innovation will help you to understand business strategy in relation to design. It will also enable you to adopt a creative, inquisitive approach to applying new innovations in technology and new thinking in design.

During your studies, you will have the opportunity to apply contemporary management and design thinking in a professional context, helping you to compete in the growing global markets using your creativity, strategy and management theory. You will study luxury design and design innovation and their importance to creative management. You will also develop brand strategies and apply these to a range of live industry projects to gain a professional understanding of current global environments.

Students should have an honours degree (2:2 or above) from a UK university or equivalent. We may also offer you a place based on relevant experience or training, normally from within the work environment. All applications are considered individually.
