The University of Winchester is situated on a picturesque campus, looking over the South Downs in Hampshire. While Winchester city centre is ten minutes from the university by foot, larger cities like London, Southampton and Portsmouth can be reached in less than an hour.

There are 4 faculties within the university:

  • Faculty of Arts
  • Faculty of Business, Law and Sport
  • Faculty of Education, Health and Social Care
  • Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

Winchester offers a both taught and research based courses, designed to enhance knowledge and career prospects in your chosen subject area. Taught programmes range from PGCEs (for both Primary and Secondary school), MA, MSc and MBA degrees across the different schools. There are also a number of research-based study options available – including MPhil, DBA, PhD and EdD.

The University was awarded Silver in the Teaching Excellence Framework 2017.
