Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of Worcester

The course is great, and the tutors are extremely helpful. The cafeteria however is very expensive, and the microwaves there have been mostly broken for the first few months read full review

I’m not too sure as I’m only here but I think it would be nice for more support that comes to you rather than having to go and seek out someone as not all students know where to go or feel comfortable doing so read full review

The support for students particularly regarding mental health needs to be improved read full review
It honours diversity, and given that Diwali is a festival of lights and colours, I thought it was excellent how the celebration was put together. It had the same vibe that, most students must be missing whilst they are away from their family. In addition, the student union frequently sends me emails regarding different awareness programmes and university initiatives. Being a part of this university makes me proud.
Teachers are incredibly helpful and grounded, going above and beyond to assist us in any manner they can. The method of teaching, which involves putting everything on slides, makes it difficult for an international student to understand. The teaching method may be improved. However, it does not apply to all modules; there are a few modules that are very simple to learn because the course is broken down into bullet points and explained by the lecturer.

Thanks.

The support from the lecturers are a huge positive. There will always be someone to help out with tasks in and out of university. The student unions and societies are big in the city of Worcester and what make the nightlife and other social aspects what it is read full review
The University of Worcester, in my short experience there so far, has been a lovely and supportive environment to learn. I particularly like the amount of study space there is to go and complete work and the range of hours that these are open, so you can study around your busy schedules. The facilities are always clean and well kept, enhancing the learning experience further. I particularly like the Starbucks that is on campus, this really helps with the early mornings and long days :) The staff that I have encountered so far have been friendly, supportive and motivating. The only thing I feel could be improved is the lack of parking, I have to arrive half an hour before my lecture/seminar starts just to get a space, if I arrive any later than this parking becomes a problem and then I worry about being late to my lesson as a result. read full review
