Course Summary

Modules

The module will cover the following topics: endogeneity, linear panel data models, binary choices models, multiple choices models; censored and truncated models, count data models. Applied empirical examples will be provided.

Entry requirements

Undergraduate degree: 2:1 or equivalent in a subject with sufficient econometrics and economics content. A strong background in mathematics or statistics would be an advantage. Other qualifications and experience: If you have been out of study for a while, or do not have a strong background in economics or mathematics and statistics but have other relevant qualifications or experience, you may be required to take the Summer Session in Economics and Quantitative Methods as a condition of your offer. Alternatively, the Session can also be taken as a stand-alone course.
