Overall Rating

have very much enjoyed university. The more stresful or difficult points have been good practice probably for when I begin work.
Student Union

elected offices are friendly but staff absolutely terrible. More concerned with the profit than with facilitating student activities or student welfare. Inefficient and condescending (individual members and staff; multi occasions).
Clubs and Societies

ISA, Looking glass (writing, editing) authority, the Yorker (student journalism magazine, the jobs anthology (writing and editing), boxing club and other national/cultural societies (singapore society etc).
Accommodation

accommodation is very comfortable but also relatively compared to private mental expensive. Porters a great help.
Uni Facilities

existing facilites decent although vacying in maintance. Would like more provision for musical instrument practice and more seminar rooms.
Course and Lecturers

the department, Being lectued and taught by professors who are actively regarding the topics and writers that they are teaching plus give a very up to date picture of the concepts and argumeetns atround said topics/writers
City Life

walking and people-watching
Job Prospects

getting a job Is easy, getting one you like may be harder depending on your industry. Same for all university degree, really.
Student Support

University clinic, psychological/friendly, language clinics (department-based), careers counselling (very thorough provision), financial support, chappling (to some denominations of christianity; were about provision for other religious), pastoral supervisor (role seen as very important, at least in English department).
