Overall Rating

I am from the south and never though that I would come to the North but its been a great experience. My experience here has been very valuable and I have made life long friends and ained enriching life opportunities and experience york is a lovely place filled with hidden gems and lots of history.
Student Union

I don't think that they are too good as there are not very organised and are not that good in addressing student issues or letting student's know about what they are actuallt doing
Clubs and Societies

badminton, DIY, spanish, Japanese, ISA, knitting.
Accommodation

I loved my accommodation in first and second year; as I was in alcuin college, which had ensuite facilities, However I am in Derwent college this year, which is cheaper as it is shared facilities but it is not hygenic and there is a lack of support from the collge when there are problems.
Uni Facilities

the facilities here are good but there needs to be more spice in the library and more coffee machinese/vending machines that actually wore.
Course and Lecturers

the variety of choice in terms of moduels in second and third year. In addition the amount of support available from staff members; especially my academic supervisor.
City Life

I love to go shopping and explore different food places in York.
Job Prospects

you can never be completely sure but I am hopeful that I will get a good job once I have finished teacher training.
