Having done an undergraduate in another university, where they didn't know anything about me, I felt like I was just a number. At York St. John I feel like my lecturers know me and it's more personal! It's a completely different experience. My tutor has checked in with me twice since starting my course, just over two months ago.
I have tried to use the student wellbeing but understand that there are long waiting lists for this. They have kindly referred me on to a different service where l be able to access wellbeing support online.
I really like the size of the York St. John campus. It's perfect and not too big. It's a great location too. Just up the road from town with lots if nice shops and restaurants nearby!
The food is also great and really affordable! And the library staff have been nothing but helpful whenever I have queries .
