Designed for students wishing to gain and further develop an in-depth understanding of the role of finance and accounting in the contemporary and globalised commercial environment. This Masters programme has been developed as a collaboration between our Business Informatics Systems and Accounting (BISA) department and the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) Centre. The course is suitable for accounting graduates. What it gives you: This Masters degree helps you to deepen your knowledge of accounting and finance. It is designed to help you enter the financial markets or advisory/financial services industry, as an analyst or professional accountant. This MSc degree can also serve as a preparation for further research at PhD level. With a blend of theoretical, and practice-led content, you will learn to develop conceptual and theoretical perspectives of accounting and financial practices. It will also enable you to understand the role of information systems within those processes. Our modules are developed from an internationalised perspective, ensuring that you not only gain insight into topical discussions within the UK but also from all around the world.
