The winners of the 2024 Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs for short) were announced earlier this week, shining a spotlight on the work that universities do for students. These awards are built around the opinions of students across the UK, informed by over 35,000 reviews submitted on campuses or online.
There are a variety of categories featured in the WUSCAs every year, like Student Support, Facilities, Accommodation and more. A category of particular interest to us here at Postgraduate Search is, somewhat unsurprisingly, the Postgraduate one – and we imagine our readers will also want to know who the winner was in this category...
"The University excels at being student-friendly through the helpful and affable manner of its staff members who usually go out of their way to assist and guide students. The teaching standards are very good with dedicated and knowledgable academic staff members who deliver lectures and tutorials and are concerned about students' overall wellbeing and welfare. The facilities provided to the students are comprehensive, especially by having a 24-hour library open at the main campus. Finally, the University is very inclusive and embraces the cultural diversity of many of its international students' ethnic celebrations on campus such as the food served at the cafeteria to the decors displayed on campus which makes the students feel welcome."— Student review of the University of Chester on Whatuni
Big congratulations to all the winners of the WUSCAs 2024, and particularly to the university of Sheffield, which came top of the University of the Year category! Head over to Whatuni to take a look at the rest of this year’s winners.
