I AGREEDr James Laird, Lecturer, gives an overview of doing a PhD with the Department in Computer Science at the University of Bath. He summarises the expertise in the department, technical facilities provided, the employability of students and applicant requirements. The department’s four main subject groups are: logic and semantics, media technology, artificial intelligence and human computer interaction. Prospective students must have an understanding of how they want to contribute to the field of Computer Science.
