The Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities (CAMC) contributes to the Creative Cultures research theme. CAMC examines how the arts help us process the past and live well in the present. The Centre’s community of researchers explores historical, social and political dimensions of cultural production through academic and practice-based research. Its researchers employ diverse methods, practices and critical theories to explore and exploit the value of creativity in how we understand, connect and transform communities, enrich individual lives and, in doing so, create better futures. CAMC is deeply local, and our members actively work to enrich and promote Coventry’s museums, galleries and heritage sites as well as fostering community health, mobility and access to creative and cultural productions.CAMC is a truly exceptional environment where a team of world-leading researchers, artists and creative practitioners from a variety of fields are engaged with each other’s work and are committed to nurturing our early career researchers and PGRs. Entry requirements

A minimum of a 2:1 first degree in a relevant discipline/subject area with a minimum 60% mark in the project element or equivalent with a minimum 60% overall module average. In the event of a first degree classification of less than 2:1, a Masters Degree in a relevant subject area will be considered as an equivalent. The Masters must have been attained with minimum overall marks at merit level (60%)*. In addition, the dissertation or equivalent element in the Masters must also have been attained with a minimum mark of merit level (60%). Or higher where stipulated against a specific opportunity.
