Course Summary

This three-year master's programme is for students who want to specialise in endodontology. You will undertake training mapped to the UK GDC-approved specialty training curriculum. The programme is only available full time. This clinically relevant MClinDent allows you to gain a broad and deep understanding of endodontology. You will develop the skills to apply appropriate clinical strategies based on first principles and be well prepared for a future as a specialist.The programme is built on the principle of systematic deliberate practice. Our novel approach builds your cognitive, technical, and clinical skills and sets the foundation for you to develop your expertise. Following these processes will empower you towards a level of mastery, both during and beyond the programme.Students take 13 core modules including a dissertation in the first two years. The third year is non-credit bearing and includes clinical training, instructive teaching, completion of clinical audit, supervised teaching, and preparing for the Royal Colleges' professional examinations including the MEndo. The programme generally requires attendance five days a week throughout the year when the university is open.
