The Crime Science with Cybercrime MSc focuses on the drivers, motives, and dynamics of cybercriminal operations, and the various actors involved in carrying these out. Students will gain a foundation in cutting-edge cyber-security technologies, and will develop knowledge of how multidisciplinary approaches can help to establish the pinch-points in the commission processes of cybercrime, and to design mitigation techniques to effectively disrupt them. The Crime Science with Cybercrime MSc is internationally renowned degree programme, which centres on applying scientific methodology to address cybercrime challenges, craft tactics to disrupt online crime, and enhance the likelihood of identifying and apprehending cyber offenders. The programme is particularly suitable for students with a background in science subjects such as engineering or computer science, or social science subjects such as psychology, criminology or geography, wishing to develop the skills necessary for a career or further doctoral research in this field.
