This full-time, three-year Periodontology MClinDent provides intensive knowledge of the basic principles of periodontal diseases, the management of advanced periodontal cases and the surgical components of implant dentistry. This programme satisfies the training requirements to sit for the Membership in Periodontics (M Perio) at the Royal Colleges of England / Edinburgh. This MClinDent provides you with comprehensive clinical and academic training in Periodontology, at UCL's state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Bloomsbury, London.You will attend a mix of face-to-face and online seminars and tutorials and have considerable clinical time to manage and treat patients with a variety of periodontal and implant dentistry needs. Training in research is an integral part of the programme. You will have the chance to collaborate on inspiring clinical or laboratory projects, both within the department and across the larger UCL community, culminating in a thesis suitable for publication.
