About the course

This MSc top-up programme is a collaboration between our Peninsula Dental School and the Faculty of General Practice (UK) that allows holders of the FGDP (UK) Diploma in Restorative Dentistry to join the third and final year of our highly regarded MSc Restorative Dentistry programme.

Key features

- Postgraduates undertake project work which is supported by expert supervisors and online teaching materials.
- Supervision is flexible to suit the needs of the postgraduates and can take on a place face to face basis or remotely (e.g. via Skype and email).
- Postgraduates receive feedback on draft work submitted regularly throughout the course to prepare them for submission of their final dissertation.

Modules

This module encompasses key concepts underpinning the delivery of restorative dentistry, enabling you to develop your understanding and knowledge of the subject. Teaching is delivered as seminars, demonstrations, and practical training in the simulated dental learning environment, enhancing clinical skills and improving patient care.

Entry requirements

As a graduate, you should be in practice (Dentistry) in the UK or EU whilst undertaking the programme, and hold full General Dental Council (GDC) registration as a dental practitioner. You should also have full professional indemnity and normally at least two years of clinical experience. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, subject to fulfilling the above requirements.
