Develop an advanced understanding of the history of social and political thought and contemporary movements and philosophies. This interdisciplinary course will train you to be a confident, independent researcher. You’ll learn from academics from a range of different disciplines, including philosophy, politics, sociology, intellectual history and law. You’ll be able to see the different perspectives those disciplines bring to the history and future development of social and political thought. This MA has a research-based curriculum that is innovative and diverse. You’ll graduate with the ability to cross boundaries and draw on both empirical and normative analysis.
