Psychology research at UWL spans a vast array of topics investigating the links between our mind, behaviour and our experience of the world - from women’s experiences of termination to the relationship between binge drinking and unplanned sexual behaviour, uses of virtual reality and the more traditional disciplines of cognitive and biopsychology. The School also is able to support students in a PhD in Addiction Studies.

Our staff have strong research backgrounds and will be happy to supervise you in research covering a broad range of topics in either psychology or addiction studies.

Our psychology research facilities include state-of-the-art brain imaging electroencephalogram (EEG), eye tracking equipment and a range of experiment and research software. We provide access and a high standard of support for use of these facilities.
