Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at Queen Mary University of London

The facilities are not well organised and have toilets for different genders on different floors instead of all on the same floor. There are not enough water fountains in each building. The floors had a weird designed and each building differed from each others, making it confusing at times. Not all entrances for teaching rooms are well labelled. read full review
The facilities at Queen Mary University of London are modern and functioning. What is more important for me is the excellent teaching and delivery mode. We have active student support, student life, and student union.

The location especially the MIile end campus is quite central and easily accessible. The Campuses are beautifully structured and well-organized. I wished we had student accommodations closer to schools for all levels not just for first-year under-graduates. Then again accommodation is a general issue in London and quite expensive but the Queen Mary residence team makes it easier for her students to deal with.

Academically, it is a fantastic place to be, at least for the course I am pursuing. The infrastructure can certainly be improved! read full review

Critical Care MSc

QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON

Student Reviewer - February 2024

Best:
- Frequent opportunities to expand on course and to volunteer for university communities
- Good facilities on newer buildings. Older ones could use revamping

Worst:
- Appalling student support. Most times silent.
- Rude staff.
- Forced to take an IELTS exam to be accepted despite previous certifications in UK, having settled status, living uninterruptedly for over 8 years in the country and working for the NHS (4 years in managerial positions, coordinating care for over 50 patients and leading over 50 nurses per shift). read full review
